At Broadway we recognise the importance of caring for God’s creation as part of our worship and mission. To help us do this, we use the Eco Church scheme run by A Rocha. An Eco Church group meet regularly to consider how we can express car for God’s world across four areas: in our worship and teaching; in how we look after our buildings; in how we engage with our local community and in global campaigns; and in the personal lifestyles of our congregation.
We have recently received the Bronze Eco Church Award by making changes to the way we use our building and the products within (e.g. Fairtrade tea and coffee, energy saving light bulbs, etc)
